The Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown have squeezed India’s job market dry. With the unlock, different economic sectors have begun to open up. However, employment scenario in India remains bleak. Staffing industry has a direct and immediate linkage with the economy, and has its finger on the pulse of job market. Paul Dupuis is the MD of the India division of Randstad, an Amsterdam-headquartered multinational human resource consulting firm.
